HRB338 is an In-Depth Ayurvedic and Chinese Medicine Study (Diagnosis and Treatment) of Anxiety Disorder and Mental Illnesses (Unmad in Ayurvedic Sanskrit), along with examination of related Vata Anxiety Disorders, Pitta Anger Violence Mania, Suicidal Tendencies (Suicide), Kapha Sadness Depression and Melancholy. Comparison – Contrast of Anxiety Depression classical Diagnosis (Assessment), Etiology (Causes), Pathology (Disease Process – Progress) and Treatment (Therapies) in both Traditional Chinese Medicine (T.C.M. or Traditional Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture) and Ayurveda — both styles Indo-Tibetan Buddhist and Hindu Ayurveda with along with Tibetan Medicine (Traditional Ayurvedic Medicine – T.A.M.).

Continuing Education Course Title is:

"One-Earth Therapeutics – Kaya Chikitsa – Integrated Ayurvedic-Chinese-Western Remedies for Anxiety (Atattvabhinivesha), Panic, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders (PTSD), Obsessive Compulsive (OCD) and Depression according to 200 B.C. Charaka Samhita – Level I"

Course Codes are: HRB338, HRB538, HRB638, HRB738

These Hi-Def HDTV videos and the MP3 audio files are the first in a 1.5 trimester unit (22.5 class hours long) series of lectures aimed and comparing, contrasting and synthesizing Anxiety Diagnosis and Anxiety Treatment in both the 2500 year old Chinese Medicine (Zhong Yi or TCM) with the 2500 year old Indian Ayurveda and 1300 year old Tibetan Ayurveda systems (TAM). The goal of this lecture program is to assist the student in seeing and understanding their vast commonalities in both theory (concepts) and practice (clinic) of ancient Indo-Sino-Tibetan psychological – psychiatric therapies in order to learn integrated practice modalities.

This rarely presented synthesis of the healing wisdom of these three great cultures (China, India and Tibet) will not only compare-contrast the theoretical and practical aspects of psychology – psychiatry within the framework of these two time-honored healing systems, but more importantly, will examine in detail the clinical practice aspects of manic – depressive bi-polar treatment — both herbal connections (Indian, Tibetan and Chinese herbs and minerals) and acupressure (Marmas in Ayurvedic Sanskrit) with acupuncture in the Chinese system.

We examine the mind and mental illness from the perspective of the Ayurvedic three doshas (Tridosha – Vata-Pitta-Kapha) and look at their relationship to major concepts in Chinese Medicine that are often spoken of by acupuncturists to their patients. Some of these relationship comparisons include:

1. Vata Dosha (Space and Air – Wind, Cold, Qi [Prana in Ayurvedic Sanskrit]),

2. Pitta Dosha (Fire and Water – Spleen Qi [Jathar Agni in Sanskrit], Heat, Damp-Heat, Blood [Rakta Dhatu in Sanskrit], and Yang),

3. Kapha Dosha (Water and Earth – Phlegm-Mucous [Ama in Sanskrit], Damp-Cold, Jing Qi [Ojas in Sanskrit] and Yin).

Commentary on and Lectures from the ancients texts of Indo-Sino-Tibetan Medicine: Chinese Classic of the Yellow Emperor – Huang Di Nei Jing (~200 B.C.), Shang Han Lun (~150 A.D. traditional Chinese Shang Hán Lùn), Divine Farmers Materia Medica (~150 A.D. The Divine Farmer’s Herb-Root Classic (traditional Chinese Shénnóng bencao jing) with Charaka of Patanjali (~200 B.C.), Sushruta of Nagarjuna (~200 A.D.), Astanga Hridayam of Vagbhata (~700 A.D.) and the "Four Tibetan Medical Tantras" (~800 A.D. "rGyud – bzhi" in Tibetan, pronounced "Ju Shee" — "Si-Bu-Yi-Dian in Mandarin — in Sanskrit it is called the "Amrta-hrdaya-astanga-guhyopadesa-tantra" or Amrita Hridaya Astanga Guhyopadesha Tantra)

Did Spleen 1-6 today in class…my last class before the final! AAAHHH!

Got big treatment in the clinic to help with my nether region issues…they’re getting better daily but I figured this would help. It did. Was a weird treatment, though, with needles all over my body and down my whole back…two even into some holes in my sacrum! They said I have a serious kidney yin deficiency, but I don’t believe it. That’s just an easy answer without really looking at the problem, which was a bike seat. Hmmm

Had 9 course salt and pepper tasting menu for Matt’s bday at the Ritz for dinner. Was mostly delicious!

A voice actor actually works harder than a Hollywood superstar. It is quite tough for a voice actor to put feelings and emotions to what he is reading, all the while knowing that he’s not seen on screen. The voice actor must be able to empathize with the character that he portrays and make sure that he breathes life into the script. This is where voice over training comes into play.

Voice over artists are able to learn the craft of voice acting and find good employment in this field by going through voice over training. There are 1000s of cartoon and animated TV shows, web shows, TV/radio advertisements, web videos, and movies being made continually. Moreover, each movie/TV show has a cast of more than 20-30 characters. The prospects for a voice talent actually abound internationally.

Voice over training course – the basic skills that you ought to possess

One of the most important tools of the trade is diction. Perfect enunciation is demanded from the student, hence, it is necessary for him to go to speech classes to perfect his diction. Every voice over actor has two roles to fulfill – “lending voice” and “acting.” So, perfect diction is not enough to start voice over training – the student must also enroll in an acting course prior to joining the voice over course.

What’s taught in a voiceover training course

The student learns how to evaluate and interpret commercial copy for announcer and real-person roles. He also learns how to interpret narrative copy and gets the hang of technical copy as well. Students learn to coordinate the mind, mouth and voice efficiently, so that they may be able to sound really true to the personality they are playing. The student also learns how to take direction.

Reading, recording, play back, and listening are done over and over again in an excellent voice talent training course. This is done in order for students to get it right. Students learn techniques such as inflection, timing and articulation. They perform warm-ups and vocal exercises as well. They figure out how to preserve their voice health. When students are already half-way into the voice over training program, they become skilled at using and adjusting pitch, tone, volume and delivery speed to meet the needs of various types of jobs.

After the main training is over, students learn how to market their skills, tap the appropriate contacts, and get voice over work. The course instructors also help them create a voice over demo for their portfolio. An opportunity to experience working in a real studio is provided in a solid voice over training course for students. They also learn what the do’s and don’ts are whenever they are behind the microphone or in a sound booth.

Choosing a voice over training program

There are two aspects to voice training. Students who are attracted in selling must opt for a commercial voice over course. Commercial voice talents are employed for selling. Some of the areas that call for this type of voice overs are radio ads, TV advertisements, phone and other media features. The voice over course also addresses selling skills because all commercial voice overs sell a product or a service. This program does not include acting skills. If a student is interested in showbiz, then he should opt for dubbing and a movie or TV voice over course. Such courses require lip-synching, and so the voice over actor has to learn acting skills too.

To end, all the world’s a stage and we must play a part. So, if you wish to play your part as a voice actor, enroll for a well-known voice actor training course and learn how to raise your voice.

Berkeley, CA (PRWEB) February 04, 2012

Happy High Herbs, a herb store in the Oakland and San Francisco area continually promotes a passion for health and a deep understanding of both the fun and medicinal side of herbal effects. It features a dazzling array of herbs to compliment every aspect of daily life, and it is proud to announce that it is now the premiere destination for Kratom ? both in terms of selection, and knowledge and experience.

“One has options for finding Kratom; however, in our experience, the quality can vary widely and quite often, the old adage is true: you get what you pay for,” said Ethan Franc of Happy High Herbs. “While sampling many suppliers? offerings, we have found that there were many samples that were far lower quality than what we were willing to offer our customers. This is an unfortunate fact of the herbal industry, as with anything natural – there is widely varying quality of products on the market.”

Kratom is becoming a very popular and highly sought-after herb due to its many important uses. It’s an amazing pain-relieving and muscle-relaxing herb ? perhaps the most powerful of all the natural options. Many people also sing the praises of Kratom for its ability to bring focus through its calming of mental distractions. It has also been known as an excellent aid for overcoming severe and life-damaging addictions, most notably to opiates and alcohol, as well as giving a great clear-headed alternative to cannabis. On a lighter note, Kratom can be a powerful herb for helping prolong intercourse, and it can also aid relaxation into an evening of intimate play.

Everyone at Happy High Herbs not only cares deeply about the customers and the future of herbal medicine but also uses many of Happy High Herbs? products on a regular basis (including Kratom), ensuring that the herbs are of the highest quality.

Happy High Herbs was originally founded in Australia by Ray Thorpe in an effort to offer safer, healthier and more effective alternatives to both recreational and medicinal drugs. The company has since expanded to include a vast online shop, as well as retail locations around the globe. The centrally-located Berkeley smoke shop and tea shop offers a myriad of herbs, as well as safe alternatives to party substances, holistic health accessories, and fire and flow toys, such as poi, staves and hula hoops. The owner is a naturopath who has extensive knowledge in the field of herbal health.

The Berkeley tea shop carries everything from classic medicinal teas, such as Echinacea, ginger and Chamomile, to lesser known remedies with surprising results, such as Withania, Gotu Kola and St. John?s Wort.

For more information about any of Happy High Herbs Store?s products or services, call 510-423-0769, view the Berkeley store on the web at http://www.happyhighherbs.com, on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/BerkeleyHappyhighHerbshop, or visit 2508 Channing Way in Berkeley.

About Happy High Herbs

Happy High Herbs is a Berkeley herb store that provides herbal remedies, health accessories, party herbs and toys. The in-house tea shop provides alternatives for addictions of all kinds. The smoke shop serves the entire Bay Area with a convenient proximity to Berkeley and Oakland residents. Keep an eye out for Happy High Herbs as it searches for a new location in San Francisco.

Fine Treatment recommends Dr. Allen?s Device for Kidney Care to men and women as a safe and easy way to dissolve and pass any type and size of kidney stones. The treatment of kidney stones is not simply a necessity for the proper functioning of the kidneys but also for the heart.

According to the urologists review from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, ?myocardial infarction, angina, and congestive heart failure all occurred significantly more often in women with a history of nephrolithiasis.? Professor of medicine Evan from Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis suggests, ?people with kidney stones have an increased risk of clogged arteries.?

So the use of the Thermobalancing Therapy enabled by Dr. Allen?s device helps not only with the kidney stones disease, but also decreases the risk of developing a coronary heart disease in the future. In addition, the treatment of kidney stones with the Thermobalancing Therapy does not involve any medication or surgery. So it avoids possible complications in the future and thus benefits general health. Read more at http://www.finetreatment.co.uk/natural-alternative/kidney-stone-treatment.html.

A kidney stone grows inside the kidney?s tissue and not separately from the kidney. While growing, the stone compresses the kidney tissue that leads to certain malfunctioning of this organ and according to the MedicineNet, ?kidneys play a key role in keeping a person’s blood pressure in a healthy range, and blood pressure, in turn, can affect the health of the kidneys.? Therefore, a trouble inside a kidney can lead to problems related to cardiovascular system.

?By treating kidney stones with the Thermobalancing Therapy, men and women can avoid complications from medication or surgery, as well as the development of coronary heart disease,? says Dr. Allen. ?Fine Treatment offers the safest therapeutic device that dissolves kidney stones naturally, and so without adverse side effects, now and always.?

Several testimonials confirm that Dr. Allen?s Device for Kidney Care dissolves even large kidney stones. See the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Wo0BQ24D6U that shows medical documents describing how this alternative therapy for kidney stones works.
